Specimen Requirements

Container/Tube: Plain, red-top tube(s)-Serum gel tube is not acceptable.

Specimen Volume: 1 mL of serum

Collection Instructions: Serum for a peak level should be drawn 60 minutes after the beginning of an intravenous infusion or 60 minutes after an intramuscular injection.

Note: 1. Indicate time of last dose and date and time of draw.

2. Label specimen appropriately.
