Specimen Requirements

Container/Tube: Lavender-top (EDTA) tube

Specimen Volume: Full 3-mL tube of whole blood

Collection Instructions: Immediately invert tube and mix gently 8 times.
Note: 1. Laboratory will make smears.

           2. Label specimen appropriately.
