NP Swab
Container/Tube: Sterile swab in viral transport media (VTM) 

Collection Instructions: Insert swab into posterior nasopharynx through nostril. Rotate swab slowly in nasopharynx for 5 seconds.

Note: 1. Label container with patient’s name (first and last), medical record number, and date and actual time of collection.

2. Specimen source is required.
